Our bilingual International Trade 2 class worked on a project to develop global negotiation guides for 5 different countries in 5 continents.
We prepared a presentation to motivate year 1 students for the negotiation class they are taking next year and explained to them the way we coordinate the English class, the International Negotiation class and the assisstant class.
It was such a great experience, all the students did a great job with the presentation and prepared a kahoot game to select the best international negotiator.
The International Trade 1 students had the opportunity to make them questions and exchange points of view.

"In the Global Negotiation Guides we have learnt a lot of information about some countries in the guide for example the negotiation protocol, strategy of each of the parties, dress code, greetings and small talk… Things that we need to know in order to set a negotiation and reach deal.
We also have learnt how to do presentations in English to other people that we don’t know, so that means that we’ve learnt how to feel confident as well."

"As a group, we think it has been very interesting this project because it has helped us know that each country is different, that nothing as simple as it seems to be, where you will have to understand their way of live to know how they work, or treat people, anything.
To negotiate you have to know each part of communication as so how to negotiate to make it right and realise that the best way of finishing is getting a win-win. We have learned how to negotiate in a way that doesn’t makes someone harder than the other and nothing like that, equal parts."
