Here is what Marina has to say:

"My experience in this Erasmus has completely exceeded my expectations. It is a unique experience, where I am growing as a person and in the field of my knowledge. I am improving my English and in the company I am learning in a pragmatic way to translate everything I have learned at school. In addition, we are traveling a lot and meeting wonderful people, I have made many new friends with whom I am sharing incredible and unique experiences."

Are you breaking up? #CleanSeas

It is not new that young people are worried about environment: this is a video one of our students played for the class as an example of a communication campaign. It was launched by the United Nations and it is called Break-Up: "It's not me, it's you."  #CleanSeas

We are posting it on the English Corner to help us think about our everyday actions. Is there anything we can change to make a more sustainable world? Will you break-up? What is your next step for breaking up?

ERASMUS in Tallinn, Estonia

David has already been in Estonia for a month, and even though it is already Spring, it seems that he Stills quite some more Snow to experience during has traineeship in Tallinn.

Here you have some of has thoughts:

ERASMUS in Dublin, Ireland

Valentina and Wendy are enjoying their time in Dublin while doing their work traineeship. They have been lucky and the arrived in Ireland Just in time to be able to celebrate Saint Patrick's Day with the Irish and following their traditions.

Here you have some of the reflections that Wendy and Valentina have done:

"I've been here a month now and I think I'm used to the city, the transport and the people.

Fun fact: there are a lot of people who speak Spanish in the city whether they are from Spain or South America. In general, shops close quite early, with the exception of supermarkets (some) and bars. The weather is crazy but I'm used to it. They love to ride bikes everywhere. The city is really beautiful and whenever I'm walking I find something new to see.”

"I have visited the Cliffs of Moher and also Galway, a small coastal town in the west of Ireland. It has been an interesting experience."

During the last few days we have been revising and signing the Grant Agreements of our 2021-2022 Erasmus students.

We aire very happy to resume these mobilities after two long years of pandemia, and even though we still have to be careful, we are very excited at the Escuela Profesional Javeriana since our students are able to have and enjoy such a wonderful experience thanks to the Erasmus+ Programme.

Technology is best when it brings people together

"Are you lost in the world like me?" Steve Cutts is the author of this animation that was created for a videoclip. We invite you to watch it and think about your attitude towards technology. Do you feel real life is like the video shows? Do you feel a little bit lost sometimes? What could you change about it?

Positions and interests: we learn how to approach international negotiations

In our bilingual International Negotiation class, we are learning how to get ready for our negotiations. Today we talked about the importance of finding out about the other party's interests to find a win-win solution.

Based on this idea, we practise our role plays. We are ready to start our term project!

HAPPY SAINT FRANCIS XAVIER!!

How many languages do you speak?

Are you adventurous?

Are you going on Erasmus?

Now, I would like you to think of someone in the 16th century studying in Paris and travelling around Asia. Don't you think he had to be someone special?

That was him, Saint Francis Xavier, the patron saint of Javerianas Foundation: a great example of an entrepreneur putting his talents towards service of others.

We encourage you to learn more about him and follow his steps...

Happy Saint Francis Xavier day!
