ERASMUS 2020-2021

Hello everyone!

As you may know, we are back on track with the Erasmus+ Programme. Even though we are in the middle of a worldwide pandemic, we are still hopeful and we want to provide our students with the best opportunities that they could have while they study with us.

Usually, by this time of the year we are in the midst of interviews with the different companies that collaborate with us; but since we couldn't do the selection process last April due to a whole country lockdown and ending the school year online without being able to see our students at least once before the summer holidays, we are doing it now.

All students in their second year at the EPJ are welcomed to start the selection process. To do so, you need to send the following documents to the ERASMUS e-mail from the Escuela Profesional Javeriana:

  • Your CV (Curriculum Vitae) in English following the EUROPASS format
  • Cover Letter / Presentation Letter explaining why you want to be an Erasmus student from the EPJ.
  • Document by the bank or family members stating that you have either enough savings or that they are willing to help you economically through the three months that internships last

All documents must be submitted by Friday 30th of October at 23:59.

We are contacting the companies and establishments that usually collaborate with us to see how they are doing after their respectives lockdowns and hoping that they are being safe and wishing them the best. Thankfully, most of them are back to business as normal, without any major incidents!

As soon as we have all the documents, we will start the process of interviewing with each candidate and assessing their English level in order to make the final decision.

Good luck!

Fundación Montemadrid Internships in Ireland.

Last summer two of our students gained a Fundación Montemadrid Internship in Ireland. Do you want to find out about it?
Ready to participate this year?

"Hello everyone my name is Miguel and I´m studying Administration and Finance.   I´m  here to talk about the internship that I did this summer, more exactly two months in Dublin with and other 29 students from different fields of vocational training.

In this internship I improved my English but also I gained some working experience. With this internship you can visit Ireland and also work in a company in Dublin.

Every weekend you have free time to stay with your host family or you can visit some famous places like Cliffs of Moher, Giants Causeway…

I was staying with the Vickers, and incredible and lovely family, with particularly manners: they showed me some Gaelic words and the real Irish food.

In my stage I was working in the Administration office in an English academy school “Ned Training Centre”. I was working with people from different countries like Poland, India, and USA... was and amazing experience too.

I really recommend you to apply because you can make friends from every country and also you will have incredible adventures so don’t hesitate and try to go Ireland with this opportunity.

If you have any question or you want to know more about this experience contact with me ;)

EUROBECAS CAJA MADRID

It’s that time of the year again. All those who are interested in living a once-in-a-life-time experience can apply for one of the scholarships granted by Fundacion Caja Madrid, to spend almost half of the summer in either England or Ireland.

Most people might think speaking perfect English is an essential requirement, but relax, you just need to be able to communicate with other people and be willing to be a part of a great program that each year helps many students from all around Spain  understand and enjoy a whole different life style.

As one of last years´ winners, I spent 7 weeks in Cork, Ireland, with 24 more students. There, we worked as interns for different companies (according to what we were studying), stayed with host families (Ireland is not only very well known for Guiness beer, but also for its hospitality) and met lots of interesting people from many places in the world.

My advice to those who feel like spending a different and very memorable summer is…go for it! Don’t miss this great opportunity, for sure, you won´t regret it!
